We take our home warranty obligations very seriously. The Queensland Building and Construction Commission outlines minimum requirements and defect liability periods that Queensland builders must abide by. We go beyond these guidelines and provide a service that exceeds industry standards.
Before handover, we perform rigorous defect inspections throughout all the homes that we build. But from time to time, minor defects may be found after the new owners have taken possession of their home, and have had some time to live in and experience the home fully.
If this occurs, our team is only an email or phone call away and you can rest assured that we’ll have the issue seen to as a high priority.
Custom Home Maintenance Follow-Up = Peace of Mind
While we will build your home to the highest quality, it’s not uncommon for your new home to ‘settle’ slightly after construction work has finished. As a result, this means that sometimes screws can become loose or doors may become a little off-centre.
Under our custom home maintenance follow up service, we will make a time to visit your home prior to your warranty period ending. During this visit, we will inspect your home to ensure everything is working as it should and carry out any minor maintenance work if required. This includes tightening any screws that may have come loose, adjust any cabinetry doors that aren’t sitting quite right and carrying out a general inspection of all your finished surfaces.
